Accessing DUAL Talk

We reward higher spending customer with a Volume Discount Scheme.  This page answer common questions that DUAL Talk customers have asked us.

  • Calling rates

    We offer three tariff and routing plans:

    - DUAL Talk Gold
    - DUAL Talk Silver
    - DUAL Talk LCR

    You can choose your tariff depending on your traffic profile and whether your priorities lie with low rates or high voice quality.

    We reward higher spending customers on our "DUAL Talk Silver" and "DUAL Talk Gold" tariffs with discounts of between 5% and 25% depending on their spending levels.

    Reseller and wholesale customers with high volume can use our "DUAL Talk LCR" or "DUAL Talk Silver" tariff.

    "DUAL Talk Silver" customers are eligible for discounts of up to 25 depending on volume.

On 1st. May 2007, we withdrew our DUAL Talk Wholesale product.  We will no longer maintain a wholesale rate table.

What will my discount be?

This will be determined on 23rd. day of every month, and you will be informed by email.  Our system will work out your average daily spend for the previous month and apply a discount according to the following tiered structure:

Can you add up the spend on my multiple accounts in the calculation?

Yes.  If you have multiple DUAL Talk accounts, our system will take the total spend on all accounts into account.  All account numbers will be listed in the email you receive.  If there is an account number missing, please inform your commercial contact at our company and he will correct this.

Can I form an alliance with my competitor to gain a higher discount?

No.  Accounts used in the calculation must be operated by your company and all payments must be received from you.  This new volume discount scheme is not referral scheme.

I only opened an account last week.  How will you work out my daily spend?

Our system will calculate the average daily spend for the last 31 days.  This may work out lower than your actual daily spend since you opened your account.  If you think that you have been adversely effected by this, please contact your commercial contact; explain the situation and request an adjustment.

If my discount is higher, will the routing stay the same?

No.  Lower rates mean reduced routing.  We share traffic between multiple carriers and customers paying higher rates have their traffic sent to more of these carriers.  If your primary concern is quality, we recommend you opt out of the discount scheme.  As long as your daily spend is more than $35, we can fix your discount at 10% and this would keep you on full standard routing.

I can find other suppliers with cheaper rates

That's not a question!  But, it's true there are cheaper suppliers offering VoIP termination.  We work hard to ensure that our service works well.  We use multiple TDM connected tier-1 carriers in London and automatically reroute failed calls between them in real time.  We have never aimed to be the cheapest supplier in the market.  At the end of the day, you need to make your own judgement on quality versus pricing.
