Accessing DUAL Talk

This page explains how to configure Welltech range of FXS gateways, such as the WellGate 3502 and WellGate 3504.

  • Calling rates

    We offer three tariff and routing plans:

    - DUAL Talk Gold
    - DUAL Talk Silver
    - DUAL Talk LCR

    You can choose your tariff depending on your traffic profile and whether your priorities lie with low rates or high voice quality.

    We reward higher spending customers with discounts of between 5% and 19% determined by their spending levels.

    Reseller and wholesale customers with high volume can use our "DUAL Talk LCR" or "DUAL Talk Silver" tariffs and are eligible for discounts of up to 19% depending on volume.

Welltech FXS gateways

Welltech produce a range of analogue gateways that offer excellent voice quality and fax support.  The details on this page relate to the WellGate 3504a 4 port FXS gateway (SIP version) and should result in the best quality when used in conjunction with the DUAL Talk VoIP service.  For initial testing, place a call to 123 and confirm that you hear a test announcement.

  • Line1 Password - Line4 Password  =  [Your DUAL Talk password]
  • Line1 Number  to Line4 Number  =  Set these to any numbers.  The numbers must be unique so that the calls are displayed correctly in the DUAL Talk Call Shop Management System.

If your gateway has a dynamic public IP address, then make sure that your DUAL Talk account has been configured for dynamic IP addresses.  If you did not do this while setting up your account, then set this option now at the Access Methods area of My DUAL Talk; the online account management system.

Test calls

We offer a simple test facility on our servers that you are welcome to use.  To call it, configure your software or hardware dialler to send calls to DUAL Talk, and then dial 123.  You should hear a test announcement.  If you hear this, then your equipment is set up correctly and you should be able to use DUAL Talk.
